I’m profoundly opposed to this kind of approach. Our artists have worked hard for years to produce the most beautiful shots possible, to me it's a huge lack of respect.
The framing is identical and the 'realistic' aspect doesn't add anything concrete or artistic

It now seems highly likely that this character from The Sandman’s BTS featurette is Lord Azazel played by Wil Coban!

UPDATE: According to Wil Coban’s Spotlight page, he will be playing Lord Azazel! This role was voiced by Roger Allam in season one of The Sandman.
