Nigeria played big brother, spent billions in South Africa, Angola, and Zimbabwe, and lost Nigerian lives in Liberia, Congo, and Sierra Leone. What did we get in return? Disrespectful and Xenophobia.
Preaching “African unity,” is you being naive bc intra-African trade is barely 15%. Many African countries would rather trade with Europe or Asia than with fellow Africans.
Even today Nigeria still subsidises neighbours like Ghana and several West African states. We have to stop subsidising ingrates and start putting Nigeria first.
