First on the Acoustic Stage will be Raphael Callaghan with his early blues & gospel songs. On last year's Blues Trail he bowled us over, so his return is big time anticipated: youtube.com/watch?v=xAzGJI…

On Saturday's acoustic stage, Kelvin Davies - a traditional country blues and ragtime performer with a twist of British folk - returns with Gary Jones, keeping the music of the great bluesmen from the 1920’s – 1940’s alive. A taster: youtu.be/Fa-pR56ZzlI

Following that there will be a solo set from the master of the one-man band Andy Twyman (who will also be performing on the Sunday as part of Dana Gillespie's fabulous band). More info on soon-to-be-released new website.

Another new event on the Saturday: Darryl Bullock, will be in conversation with BB Skone talking about his soon to be published book 'Queer Blues' - a fascinating account of the hidden figures of early Blues music.

And another festival favourite, Bella Collins, graces this year with both the late night Saturday Giltar Hotel, Bluestone sponsored, all-in session and a 2.30pm slot on Sunday's Blues Trail at Top Joe's. How comforting is that?

A Thursday (9th Nov) special: 7.30pm in Tenby United RFC, guitar maestro James Oliver will be in conversation with broadcaster BB Skone followed by a solo set from the man himself (that's James not BB thankfully). A gentle preamble

Supporting the main de Valence act on Friday, Sam Kelly's Station House: their blues-based “groove” influenced by New Orleans second line, soul, jazz and British funk, is infectious (in a good way).
