for all you builders out there using Inter as your order book font and rainbow gradients on your depth bars this is how to make an order book UI that doesn't suck: - use a monospace font - right-align numbers - use moderate-high contrast for colors - do not get cute with it. this is not the time to bust out a 9-color gradient fade

I actually think we'll see much more of this. Not just in NFTs, but across crypto in general. The age of "projects" is almost over, no one really cares anymore. Their "big announcements" barely get 50k views these days. People are tired. We're shifting toward more personal projects, because that's what people can connect with on a deeper level. People they know, not anonymous projects with founders who might be doxxed, but that no one actually knows who tf they are
wale.moca 🐳@waleswoosh

KOLs launching their own NFT projects, usually a bottom signal. At least this time they're free mints, so why not

Hey @TaylorLorenz, I know finance and business (and research in general) isn't your strongsuit, so let me help you out a little bit. No one is claiming "financial fraud", just that your definition of "dark money" is arbitrary, and you seem to have no understanding for how any of these entities are structured. Let me give you an example of how silly your claim is: You keep claiming that the Omidyar Network is solely funded by a single person, Pierre Omidyar. This is half-true, in that the the Omidyar Network Fund receives money from the Pierre Omidyar Trust. However, that Trust is, by your own (and any) definition, "dark money," because we have zero insight into who's money goes into it and what that Trust holds. Here's an example of how silly this game is: You claim (well, you make a variety of claims, mainly due to your ignorance about the structure of these businesses and your lack of familiarity with non-profits, but that's okay, they're confusing, and I wouldn't expect you to let any research get in the way of a good headline!) that Chorus was receiving dark money from the Sixteen Thirty Fund. However, the Sixteen Thirty Fund does not fund Chorus, it only works as a fiscal sponsor processing payments and administrative cost while giving them 501(c)(4) status until they register it on their own (which they now have). For an extra bit of irony, though, you claim that your journalist program was funded solely via that Omidyar Network Fund, which is a 501(c)(3) and reports all of its contributors. However! I believe you claim you were compensated around $45k from their reporter program? Guess who donated about $45k to the Omidyar Network Services LLC, part of the Omidyar Network Fund, in 2022? That's right, the Sixteen Thirty Fund! Good luck on your future articles! You can email me if you ever need to research for your stories, since you can't seem to bring yourself to do any reading on your own.

Faced w irrefutable info proving him wrong, DGG fans are now claiming that Omidyar is committing financial fraud & lying on this disclosure so that he, a billionaire known for funding journalism projects, can secretly accept outside $ to fund a non-partisan journalism fellowship

nobody accidentally swaps $50M into a pool with $36K of liquidity lol. fresh wallet, $50.4M from Binance, zero slippage protection, routed through the jankiest Sushiswap path possible. and then an MEV bot just happens to flash borrow $29M from Morpho in the same block and pocket $9.9M? cmon. 0xngmi called this exact play a year ago - construct a deliberately terrible swap, let a friendly bot extract the value, dirty money comes out the other side as "legit MEV profit." $154K per AAVE isn't a fat finger. it's a laundering fee

@newmichwill @CurveFinance @Uniswap Kinda makes sense even just from the simple perspective of, curve wouldnt even exist (with meaningful liquidity) anymore if it didnt. its whole original purpose was maximum efficiency from specifically stablecoin pools.

This is interesting: @CurveFinance USDC/USDT pool greatly outperforms similar @Uniswap pools in both utilization and APR. And the average fee in the pool on Curve is actually higher than in Uni v4 pool with similar assets!

IF EVERYTHING GOES WRONG IN THE NEXT 72 HOURS, HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS 🇮🇷 Day 1: • Iran's emergency council collapses. IRGC takes full control. • 80,000 drones launched at Gulf oil facilities. Saudi, Qatar, UAE hit. • Oil spikes toward $200 a barrel within hours. • Gulf airports shut down. Millions stranded. 🇨🇳 Day 2: • China moves warships as US carriers reposition. • Sleeper cells activate. Power grids and infrastructure targeted. • Hezbollah enters full war. Syria dragged back in. • Europe panics. Gas up 400%. Industry stalls. 🇮🇱 Day 3: • Iran fires ballistic missiles at Israel. Tel Aviv hit. • Israel responds with massive retaliation. Tehran loses power. • Nuclear sites destroyed. Known and unknown. • Global trade routes collapse. Bitcoin crashes, then violently reverses. We're in another fucking war. Nobody voted for it.

Showed STRC to an old Chicago friend who doesn’t care about Bitcoin or MSTR. But he wants better yield than his 4% money market without his principal bouncing around too much. Once he internalized the dividend cash reserve and the 720k BTC safety net, he was like gotcha yeah they’re def gonna pay the yield and moved some cash into STRC during lunch. Just a few hundred bucks to dip his toes but it was obvious 11.5% beats 4%. This thing is going to become a monster.

Before Hyperliquid, there was GMX. Well, technically, there were many, but GMX was the one that first stood out and made the concepts we all know like the GLV (vault, etc) One of the few things that is cool and to watch out for is the upcoming MegaETH launch with USDM denominated vaults. Reasoning is simple: - Usecase for USDM, especially this early on - Could potentially be a second coming of a tried and true product but on a much faster chain than ever before - Familiar UI, easy to use if you've ever used a perpdex before, it probably looks like this, they were the OGs Disclaimer, have partnered up with @GMX_IO because they're indeed one of the first defi pioneers that started perpdexes as an entire genre.
