Tennessee families are returning because it’s working—because when parents have choices, students benefit. Among families eligible to renew, 18,644 applied to return for a second year. That is a 99% renewal rate, showing strong satisfaction with @TNedu's Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS) program.

“Regarding NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress) scores, we have come from one of the lowest ranking states in the country to the number one state in the SEC - so all our neighboring southern states. And, from the lowest half in America to the 17th state in the country. Seventeen isn’t something to be overly excited about unless you came from the 40s and we are moving in the right direction.” @GovBillLee at the @nashchamber Governor’s Address

TN's Education Freedom Scholarship program has seen soaring demand, with 56,000 applications this year for just 20,000 seats. I's time we meet this demand & extend opportunity to thousands more children across TN by doubling the number of scholarships to 40,000 this year.
