She tilted her head and let out a short laugh at his remark about her. If only he knew what she was and her history. He'd have second thoughts about her and 'cute'. Most people did, anyways.

"Well, with that look of yours, you look more cute than scary." He ought to have felt reassured by his words, but the truth was, he didn't. Finally, he sheathed his weapon, resigned, and let out a heavy sigh. "I’m not a Scaldra soldier, well, not anymore."

"The military I cam from didn't really press for uniformity. Nor are we the usual fashion... Although now I suppose we're more of a ragtag mercenary group." She sighed and scratched her cheek.
