My dad has been using MTN since I knew him with same number for over 20 years, and in all of these 20yrs he has never borrowed one kobo from MTN Do you know how MTN decided to reward him? They imposed a debt on him. For the past 3 weeks, Anytime he buys data/airtime they’ll take it and say he’s owing My dad is paying MTN money he didn’t borrow. Mind you, he has been to MTN’s office and they told him they’ll resolve it but they didn’t This is the number everyone knows him with for over 20yrs, he can’t just discard it This is so unfair 💔

It’s obvious the staff of @MTNNG is taking this matter lightly so I will bring it out here On the 24th of March I paid for MTN fibre X, 30,000 naira for 50 mbps which is 1 month unlimited. I specifically told the MTN staff that I have my Starlink working perfectly for me without any complain and that Starlink doesn’t even regulate their mbps to just 50 cos I get up to 120 mbps on a normal day. But she said that installing + router is free that all I’m paying for is just the subscription what do I have to lose, so I paid. I didn’t get my ref ID unti the next day 25th and it was on the same day that the router was installed, but activation will happen from the office, and the MTN staff told me that it’s gonna happen in a weeks time as they are still installing for many people living inside the estate and that they will activate all at once Not until 31st of March that the staff texted me and told me to turn on my router to see if it has started working, I checked and it was working , they sent an engineer the following day he came and said that he doesn’t activate that’s it the office that will do that and he left. So I told the MTN staff that hope my 1 month haven’t started to count and she told me categorically that it will only start to count when it activated. So on the 7th of April I sent her a vn complaining that my fibre X hasn’t been activated that’s what’s going on ? Her reply is in the ss bellow Only for me to get an email from MTN yesterday reminding me of my renewal on the 7th of May without even them activating my router, what kinda of company does that ? In the email was the link for me to log into the fibre X app and see my usage only to find out that they activated my internet since 5th of may even tho the router was still blinking the red light which according to their staff means it hasn’t been activated. MTN didn’t active my fibre X at all , I didn’t use the network for one day but they want me to renew. @MTNNG refund my 30,000 naira and come and carry your router
