#HPN2026 #HariPersNasional #MeutyaHafid #TeoNieChing #IndonesiaMalaysia #KerjaSamaMedia #TransformasiDigital #PersIndonesia

Aku faham korang nak buat check and balance untuk kerajaan sekarang, tapi jangan la gunakan company aku and project aku sebagai medium korang. Haih

Vamos, @RafaelNadal!   As you get ready to graduate from tennis, I’ve got a few things to share before I maybe get emotional.   Let’s start with the obvious: you beat me—a lot. More than I managed to beat you. You challenged me in ways no one else could. On clay, it felt like I was stepping into your backyard, and you made me work harder than I ever thought I could just to hold my ground. You made me reimagine my game—even going so far as to change the size of my racquet head, hoping for any edge.   I’m not a very superstitious person, but you took it to the next level. Your whole process. All those rituals. Assembling your water bottles like toy soldiers in formation, fixing your hair, adjusting your underwear... All of it with the highest intensity. Secretly, I kind of loved the whole thing. Because it was so unique—it was so you.   And you know what, Rafa, you made me enjoy the game even more.    OK, maybe not at first. After the 2004 Australian Open, I achieved the #1 ranking for the first time. I thought I was on top of the world. And I was—until two months later, when you walked on the court in Miami in your red sleeveless shirt, showing off those biceps, and you beat me convincingly. All that buzz I’d been hearing about you—about this amazing young player from Mallorca, a generational talent, probably going to win a major someday—it wasn’t just hype.   We were both at the start of our journey and it’s one we ended up taking together. Twenty years later, Rafa, I have to say: What an incredible run you’ve had. Including 14 French Opens—historic! You made Spain proud... you made the whole tennis world proud.   I keep thinking about the memories we’ve shared. Promoting the sport together. Playing that match on half-grass, half-clay. Breaking the all-time attendance record by playing in front of more than 50,000 fans in Cape Town, South Africa. Always cracking each other up. Wearing each other out on the court and then, sometimes, almost literally having to hold each other up during trophy ceremonies.   I’m still grateful you invited me to Mallorca to help launch the Rafa Nadal Academy in 2016. Actually, I kind of invited myself. I knew you were too polite to insist on me being there, but I didn’t want to miss it. You have always been a role model for kids around the world, and Mirka and I are so glad that our children have all trained at your academies. They had a blast and learned so much—like thousands of other young players. Although I always worried my kids would come home playing tennis as lefties.   And then there was London—the Laver Cup in 2022. My final match. It meant everything to me that you were there by my side—not as my rival but as my doubles partner. Sharing the court with you that night, and sharing those tears, will forever be one of the most special moments of my career.   Rafa, I know you’re focused on the last stretch of your epic career. We will talk when it’s done. For now, I just want to congratulate your family and team, who all played a massive role in your success. And I want you to know that your old friend is always cheering for you, and will be cheering just as loud for everything you do next.   Rafa that!   Best always, your fan,
 Roger

Today, the French Supreme Court has delivered a historic victory for Malaysia in the purported Sulu case. In the latest decision, the Court fully dismissed the challenge filed by the supposed heirs of the long-defunct Sultanate of Sulu. This important decision means that the initial basis for the sham Final Award that ordered Malaysia to pay USD 15 billion, is not recognised under French law. The Paris Court of Appeal will now proceed, in due course, to annul the purported Final Award rendered by Dr Stampa, and will definitively settle the matter in favour of the Malaysian people. I welcome with great satisfaction this landmark decision by the French Supreme Court as a momentous victory for the rule of law, which will help preserve the sanctity of international arbitration as an alternative form of dispute resolution. I would like to thank YAB Dato’ Seri @anwaribrahim , the Prime Minister of Malaysia, for his continued support and unwavering trust in our ongoing effort to uphold Malaysia’s position. We would also like to express our gratitude to YB Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan @tokmatn9, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; YB Tuan @fahmi_fadzil, the Minister of Communications, Datuk Seri Panglima Haji @Hajijinoor , the Chief Minister of Sabah, the Attorney General, the State Government of Sabah, the Attorney General’s Chambers, the Malaysian Embassy in France, the relevant Ministries and agencies and all other parties involved.

Good and very fair questions. The answer is make sure PH remains in power. Ok I jest. I jest. Serious answer below 👇🏼 Firstly, the licensing regime imposes obligations not on the end user like you and me, but on online service providers (OSPs) like Meta, X, TikTok The primary obligation rests on the OSPs to moderate and create a safe environment, government only steps in when the OSPs fail to do so. Secondly, the requirement for license has always been there. This isn’t a new law that needs to be passed by Parliament. However, by way of an Exemption Order in year 2000, many content providers have been exempt from requiring a licence. The Government intends to amend the said EO to require two types of OSPs to obtain licenses; social media and instant messaging. This means that OSPs with 8 million users in Malaysia must have a local presence (ie local company) and obtain a licence. The whole idea is to enforce conduct requirements on these OSPs that they must comply. These include: 1) robust measures to protect minors 2) robust measures to detect AI generated content 3) content moderation which must be quick and effective 4) clear complaints procedure for aggrieved social media users, amongst others. Enforcement is by way of enforcing the licence conditions. In other words, it is by way of administrative action by MCMC. Since it is by way of administrative action by MCMC to require the OSP to do something and not enforcement of legislation, there is an in built procedure for review and appeal to an Appeals Tribunal. The action should also be open to judicial review, especially if it relates to infringement of basic fundamental liberties. Making OSPs responsible for the content it publishes is not something unique to Malaysia. Some countries have even more stringent requirements. One must also remember that these OSPs have significant presence in Malaysia, with little to no accountability or responsibility for the content they allow to be published. Not to mention, the revenue they get from our country without giving back to its people through taxes and the like. I again reiterate; it would be easy for the government to fallback on making new laws which would further restrict freedom of speech. That would truly be a matter of concern.

My concern is that once this law comes into effect, what happens when PH is no longer govt and the new one decides to abuse it? Who will prevent it and who will be held responsible when it gets abused to silence us?
