@officialsammyuk Jail the men who did this and deport them if possible. Sack the people who ignored it and jail them if appropriate. They facilitated its continuance and they need to be held equally responsible. We need all of them rooting out and dealing with. Why aren't heads rolling?

A remarkable woman has just shared her testimony with us at the Rape Gang Inquiry hearings. It was the first time she has ever spoken out about what happened to her. She was raped as a child by over 600 men and was made pregnant four times by her rapists. Her testimony was absolutely heartbreaking. @RupertLowe10 @rapeganginquiry

@wesstreeting It's offensive to tier care + support like this. Why is it harder for parents of children with cancer than for parents to get cancer themselves and still care for young children? This is another eg of response to lobbying wrapped up as caring.

Receiving a cancer diagnosis is hard for anyone, but it is especially hard for parents with younger children. Too many are forced to worry about travel costs for treatment. That’s why we’re launching a £10m travel fund for young people with cancer. 👇🏻 bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@implausibleblog It's what's behind her words - the real issue is broken trust and the frustration in not being asked about really significant issues that affect all of our lives, because politicians think they know better. Broken trust is also stopping people voting

Lady in green says that manifestos should be legally binding and if political parties break them, there should be consequences, be charged with something #BBCQT

@Riley_Gaines_ @Jaguar This is the opposite of customer centricity, it's self-indulgent corporate centric nonsense. Instead of preaching at customers, try asking what they want. I want car seats designed for women so we don't die in accidents and cars are more comfortable to drive. How mad is that?

No, @Jaguar, this isn’t about intolerance. Have you considered that when people are shopping for a car, they’re typically focused on affordability, practicality, and safety—not diversity, equity, or inclusion? Return to reality.

@NoFarmsNoFoods He obviously wants a return to the feudal system where we're all strip farming. It doesn't work any better than monolithic centralized farming (eg the USSR). Mixed farming with multi-generational ownership is best because farmers are invested in the future of the land.

Farmers don’t “hoard” land. Farmers use the land to feed us and maintain the countryside. They work long hours every day and face huge production costs and often poor purchase prices from supermarkets to do so. Inheritance tax will force many family farmers into selling land.

All the local councils and MPs are against the plans. Please sign the petition and put the environment and the wellbeing of local people over get-rich-quick plans by outsiders. Protect the birds, the otters and the beavers. Please sign and retweet.

@OpenreachHelp It's not good enough when you're working at home in the middle of a call for the network to be switched off without warning. Just not good enough. Text message would suffice.
