Because of relocation we can now afford things we used to dream of.
Abroad brought our dreams to reality, I and my husband are not läzy people but no matter what we did or the businesses we invested in Nigeria frustrated us every step of the way.
When we packed up and left, yes! We started over and picked up gradually, our stories changed! Just like that, I didn’t even know how much progress I have made until I encountered certain things.
Of course, there were days I cried and felt overwhelmed but regret never crossed my mind, I knew it was a phase and a process, I knew I had to pay my dues to get to where I want to be.
I am not close to where I want to be, but boy I have made so much progress that I am tempted to coast but I know better, the fèar of where I am coming from keeps me pushing.
This is me telling you that there is light at the end of that dârk tunnel, keep pushing.
Na who give up lose👌

From Nigeria to Germany: A Scholarship Journey
In March 2020, I received a letter from Germany that changed the trajectory of my life.
I had been admitted to pursue an international master’s degree on a funded scholarship, after graduating as the best student in my BSc Physics class in Nigeria 🇳🇬
Today, I look back with gratitude for the exposure and experience Germany gave me—the opportunity to study, learn, and conduct research in a state-of-the-art environment.
If you are currently studying in a Nigerian university, let this be your encouragement to give your absolute best. The opportunities out there are limitless.
And if you’ve already graduated with excellent results (especially in Physics) and need guidance on securing international scholarships, feel free to reach out—I’d be glad to help.

@_mrwill Thank you for giving me courage, even in complex situation
English

@_mrwill I believe, but some of us don’t even have access to interview venues, but I believe with God all things are possible.

@itsTseTse Equal access to opportunity is the only key to succeeding, I believe that’s the only way potentials can excel

@Joe_brendan_ You made a great point, but most times genuine human are unlucky to meet the right people, sometimes even when they meet people they still meet people as broke as they are.
English

One of the reasons poverty is deep in Nigeria is this
The people we meet daily are dishonest, lying, satanic demons who believe their only way to success is to cheat you
I know at least 2 people who can open 10 barbing salons, get cars for Uber, open shops, etc etc. They have the money to do so
But they are refusing to open one business because the employees will cheat them as they have always done
So many people with money are on this table. they are scared of opening businesses that will employ people and reduce poverty because the people that will be employed will come with the mindset to steal and wreck things
Everyone is tying up their money in real estate, stocks, REITS in America, etc. Nobody is creating Jobs.
The average Nigerian does not trust the average Nigerian

@SirDavidBent Absolutely right, but difficult to practice
