Ilya Sorokin with his league-leading 7th shutout last night against the Blue Jackets. The Islanders rank 31st in inner slot shots and high-danger chances against - 28th in expected goals against. They are 4th in actual GAA.

@JCapGLJ As much as I like darche , he still has a lot to prove in terms of improving this team. Drouin/Romanov are his biggest signings so far.

All I know for certain is the #Isles have a very good GM. Whatever happens in the next hour and 20 minutes won’t change my opinion of him. I don’t mind dealing “top” prospects for guys with term because this GM will find more top prospects.
