🏃♀️ What a small, crazy world. As a TNews intern, I wrote a feature (bit.ly/4ulHMvs) on Quanesha Burks after her first NCAA title in 2016. A decade later, we found ourselves at the same Girls Who Run x FP Movement 5K in Atlanta — and we’ve both come so far in our careers.

Personal news: As of today, I am a free agent. The Falcons eliminated the Digital Team Reporter role. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities and experiences I had in Atlanta. Now, it’s time to find a new adventure.

While researching Ian Cunningham I ran across an old newspaper story from Dec. 2007, days before the final game of his college career.
It was that article in the Richmond Times-Dispatch that proclaimed a goal that is now a reality for the new GM in ATL.

@TerrinWaack @AtlantaFalcons There seems to be an error in the article, looks like there was a quote from Ryan that was attributed to Stefanski, otherwise, excellent write-up!

The Browns went 17 seasons without a playoff bid. When Kevin Stefanski arrived in 2020, he ended that drought.
Stefanski can now use lessons learned from that turnaround to help the Falcons reach the playoffs for the first time since 2017.

Since Arthur Blank's end-of-season press conference, the word "vision" has been said roughly 30 times across three different press conferences with Blank, Matt Ryan and Kevin Stefanski.
What is that vision? Matt Ryan explains.

Falcons president of football Matt Ryan said offensive coordinator Tommy Rees is "inexperienced when it comes to play-calling in the NFL, but he's very experienced at calling plays."

Bijan Robinson is a finalist for the AP Offensive Player of the Year award. There's a really solid case Robinson can make to be the leader in the clubhouse, here's a snapshot of that argument ⤵️

One of the very first questions Kevin Stefanski was asked as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons — of course — had to do with the QB situation in Atlanta.
Here is what he had to say about Michael Penix Jr. and Kirk Cousins ⤵️

Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski: "I know full well how important that rivalry is with us and the Saints. Obviously Kellen Moore is a good friend of mine. That's a part of this business. When you've been doing this this long, you're going up against a lot of your friends in this business. You can be friends with them before 363 days of the year. For those other two days, you're competing like crazy."
