Her first indoor NCAA title, I should clarify. She won an outdoor title in 2015. A superstar in the making back then, considering she has since become an OLYMPIAN. When we originally met at Alabama, I was a sophomore and she was a junior. So cool to reconnect and reminisce.

🏃‍♀️ What a small, crazy world. As a TNews intern, I wrote a feature (bit.ly/4ulHMvs) on Quanesha Burks after her first NCAA title in 2016. A decade later, we found ourselves at the same Girls Who Run x FP Movement 5K in Atlanta — and we’ve both come so far in our careers.
