Today would have been my dad’s 74th birthday. This season carries gravity. Father’s Day, his birthday, and the anniversary of his passing all fall within 60 days. For me, grief has no straight path. It revisits, reshapes, and rises when I least expect it. But alongside it lives a legacy built on generosity and kindness. He made people feel seen. Gave permission to feel deeply and to laugh through pain. That mission continues. To those carrying loss right now: you’re not alone. Happy birthday, Dad. Love you forever.

@PercyBlakeney63 If football is all about the fans then why don’t we just not all go one Saturday…..completely empty stadiums, let’s see how Sky/TNT and the clubs like that. A massive protest against everything the clubs/owners are doing against the supporters up and down the country.

@PercyBlakeney63 Two more clubs/teams and it could be over…..its not like the old days of the local business man/fan owning the club and trying to give something back to the community/supporters, this is now all about the $$$. The new Champions League format is like a mini super league.

As Everton look like they will be the 10th Premier League club to be owned by US based investors, and with Newcastle and City also with big investors remember the Premier League can do what they want once 14 teams agree on a strategy. The other six have to suck it up….
