You have removed the subsidy. You have passed tax reform. You have stopped deductions from NNPC. You have increased borrowing. ALL ARE REVENUE EVENTS. Revenues have not merely doubled; they have tripled, according to your own data. Why can't the Army CAPEX be funded? Why can't the power debt be paid? Why can't all contractors be paid? Why can't you implement a temporary PMS relief? The revenue is not the issue; the problem lies in wasteful spending.

Obi Cubana and Chief Priest are two Igbo men, they’ve been dragged here regularly by fellow Igbos, if they were of a different tribes it’d have been tagged tribal bigotry. You can not only condemn evil when it’s distant from your tribe or culture, then turn around and embrace it when it has connection with your tribe, that is biases

INEC Nigeria@inecnigeria

AIRWAVES MUST REMAIN A SANCTUARY FOR TRUTH, NOT A MEGAPHONE FOR CHAOS — INEC CHAIRMAN WARNS BROADCASTERS The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, has cautioned broadcast media organisations against the spread of misinformation, warning that the integrity of the 2027 General Election will depend significantly on how responsibly Nigeria’s airwaves are managed. Speaking on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the 81st General Assembly of the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria, the INEC Chairman stressed that the information space has become a critical battleground in modern elections. He noted that the greatest threat to credible polls may no longer be physical disruptions, but the rapid spread of false information amplified through unverified broadcasts. Prof. Amupitan emphasised the need for strict compliance with the Electoral Act 2026, particularly provisions guiding political broadcasting. He drew attention to statutory obligations requiring equal access to media platforms for all political parties, noting that with 22 registered parties, fairness in airtime allocation and coverage is a legal requirement, not a matter of discretion. The INEC Chairman further highlighted the provisions of the law prohibiting the use of abusive, inflammatory, or divisive language capable of inciting ethnic, religious, or sectional tensions. He warned that irresponsible broadcasting could undermine national cohesion and destabilise the electoral process, urging media practitioners to uphold professionalism at all times. He also reminded broadcasters of the mandatory 24-hour “cooling-off period” before Election Day, during which political campaigns and advertisements are prohibited. According to him, the measure is designed to allow voters reflect and make informed decisions free from last-minute manipulation or misinformation. While acknowledging the constitutional guarantee of freedom of expression, Prof. Amupitan maintained that such freedom must be exercised within the framework of the law. He explained that as a public resource, the airwaves impose a responsibility on regulators and operators alike to ensure equitable access and responsible usage during elections. The INEC Chairman underscored the complementary roles of INEC and the National Broadcasting Commission in safeguarding the integrity of political broadcasting. He, however, identified challenges such as regulatory overlaps, enforcement gaps, and the increasing convergence of traditional and digital media, which has made monitoring more complex. Raising concerns over perceived incumbency advantage in state-owned media and the growing commercialisation of political airtime, Prof. Amupitan warned that such practices could disadvantage smaller political parties and weaken the level playing field required for credible elections. To address these challenges, he called for stronger collaboration between regulatory bodies, clearer legal definitions of equal access, improved fact-checking mechanisms, and greater transparency in political advertising, including full disclosure of sponsorship and pricing. The INEC Chairman charged broadcast organisations to prioritise truth and professionalism over profit, urging them to verify information before dissemination and actively combat fake news. He also called on the media to play a proactive role in mobilising citizens to participate in the electoral process. Reaffirming the Commission’s commitment to transparency, Prof. Amupitan advised broadcasters to rely on INEC’s official platforms as authoritative sources of electoral information, assuring them of continued engagement with designated Commission spokespersons. He concluded that the credibility of the 2027 General Election will depend not only on electoral logistics and technology but also on the integrity of the information environment, urging the media to act responsibly in the overriding interest of Nigeria’s democracy.

Who is Harry? I have known Harry @trigottista for a long time on this app. Countless times, his account has been suspended because of mass reports from defeated people who couldn’t stand against him, but he didn’t give up. He is not someone you can easily fool with lies or emotional tricks. One thing I have learned from him is that he is an excellent communicator. If you study dark psychology, you will come across what is called “strategic communication.” This style does not attack right away. Instead, it starts calm and gentle. It gets the other person to show their weaknesses without them noticing. Strategic communication does not throw heavy facts at the start. It begins with simple engagement, then carefully brings out the flaws in the other side’s argument. This was the same approach he used to checkmate Dr Sina when the issue of Baddi leg surgery came up. When you build your emotional intelligence, it becomes very hard for anyone to convince you with lies if they have no real facts. Many of us are too emotional and too lazy to check lies with facts. That is why a small comment from a stranger can make us take sides, even when the person is clearly wrong. Give Harry @trigottista his applause. He has done what many of our so-called DSS officers and investigative journalists cannot do.

Last week, when i stepped down from the car at Ojukwu girls’ hostels in University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, something terrible hit me before i even saw anything else. The smell. Not the kind you can ignore. The kind that stays with you. The kind that makes you wonder how anyone is expected to live like this not to talk of study, dream, or become anything. Bathrooms you can’t step into without holding your breath. Water that doesn’t run. Windows open for "Window Men" to steal at night. Doors that don’t lock. Rooms packed beyond capacity. No privacy. No dignity. Just young girls trying to survive each day in a place that quietly strips them of self-worth. And that’s where the conversation everyone avoids begins. Because what happens next is not random. When a teenage girl cannot bathe safely… When she cannot sleep in peace… When her own hostel feels like a punishment… She starts looking for an escape. Not because she’s wayward. Not because she lacks home training. But because she’s tired. Tired of managing filth. Tired of feeling less than human. So a man offers a better space, a cleaner room, water, light, comfort. And slowly, survival turns into compromise. It doesn’t start with “promiscuity.” It starts with relief. Then comes dependency. Then comes pressure. Then comes mistakes that carry lifelong consequences. And one day, she’s pregnant. And society, in its usual cruelty, asks: “Where are her parents?” “Why are girls like this?” But nobody asks the harder question: What kind of environment did we abandon her to? We keep pretending morality exists in isolation. It doesn’t. Environment shapes choices. And when you place teenagers in conditions that constantly strip them of dignity, you shouldn’t be shocked when they begin to make desperate decisions just to feel human again. This is not just about dirty hostels. This is about how a system quietly pushes young girls into situations they never planned for and then turns around to blame them for surviving it. If we’re serious about reducing teenage pregnancy… If we truly care about protecting the future of these girls… Then we need to stop looking away. Because sometimes, the difference between discipline and desperation is just the condition of where a girl lays her head at night.

My husband still regrets coming back to Nigeria 2019 to visit his family, He was kidnapped that same year, was later released after paying huge amount of ransom which affected his traveling back , When we think, things are getting better again for him to go back, His elder brother was kidnapped, ransom was demanded , Hubby sold all his resources and assets just for his released because his four kids was still very young and the wife, But even after the ransom was paid, he was still killed, no body to retrieve, At the same time, hubby lost everything to them, and was also in so much debit which has been cleared by God's grace Instead of staying without anything, he decided to borrowed little money and get second hand Keke which he is managing now but has been in a bad shape since last week So to the f@@l that was calling me an Igbo beggar just because I committed on a giveaway, may Nigeria happen to u too This was my husband before Nigeria happened to him and now 🙏🙏🙏

Aliko Dangote, the number one beneficiary of government subsidies and waivers, is now the one accusing “foreign interests” of being responsible for underdevelopment of Africa. LOL! Dangote patronizes every corrupt regime in this country and contributes to campaigns of rogue politicians. They want us to leave Bola Tinubu, the 36 State Governors, Wike, Akpabio and his colleagues in the National Assembly and start fighting “foreign interests”. How come that these foreign interests are unable to keep Asia down? Africans are the ones primarily and actively underdeveloping the African continent. No foreign interest or intelligence agency can effectively sabotage the development of a country without internal collaborators. This blame shifting that we are doing in the name of “Pan-Africanism” will not take us anywhere.
