The Lord of the Rings trilogy is an iconic film series, but it also has many elements that are difficult to watch in modern day. cbr.com/8-reasons-toug…

The reason they're coming for Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter is that these properties are based on right-wing, Christian, and most importantly, white culture. It's their mission to subvert and destroy it. They don't care about losing money. They hate you and want you dead.

We pulled 6.1M H-1B petitions directly from USCIS. I could not believe what I was seeing. 93.8% were approved. That's not a screening process. That's an open door! 990 foreign workers approved to work in America per day for 17 years straight.

THE HIDDEN AGENDA: This is how it actually works. Step 1: Fire Americans. Step 2: Hire an outsourcing firm. Step 3: Outsourcing firm files H-1B visas claiming "no Americans available." 81,000 fired. 794,151 H-1B petitions. SPREAD THE WORD! NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THIS.

We cannot normalize ICE inserting itself into our daily lives. Here is a reminder: ICE agents do not belong at airports. ICE agents do not belong at polling stations. ICE agents do not belong undermining our rights and hurting our communities.

.@GovPritzker, I saw your post honoring lives lost in Minnesota—standing publicly, naming Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and laying flowers in their memory. But where was that same compassion on January 19, 2025? That is the day my 20-year-old daughter, Katie Abraham, was killed here in Illinois. She was innocent. She did not knowingly put herself in the middle of an ongoing law enforcement situation. She was not making a dangerous choice. She was simply living her life—and it was taken from her. You have never said her name. You have never come to where she died. You have never acknowledged her publicly. And beyond that—you have never even responded to me. I sent you a simple, non-political letter. Not for attention. Not for headlines. Just a father asking for clarity, for answers, and for understanding of the state’s position. You never replied. And now, in the wake of another tragedy here in Chicago, your public display of compassion elsewhere—while remaining silent about victims in your own state—feels deeply disconnected from the reality families like mine are living every day. Instead, you continue to defend sanctuary policies that create the conditions where preventable tragedies like hers can happen. This is not about politics. It’s about leadership and accountability. When you choose to publicly mourn some victims while remaining silent about others—especially those lost under policies you support—it sends a message. Whether intentional or not, it tells families like mine that our loss does not matter the same way. So I am asking you directly: Where is your compassion for my daughter? Where is your acknowledgment of victims here in Illinois? And when will you take responsibility for the consequences of the policies you defend? Say her name: Katie Abraham. Stand where she died. Show the people of Illinois that every life matters.

A drug dealer who crashed a car and then killed a female pedestrian by stamping on her head has been found guilty of murder. Chukwuemeka Ahanonu attacked stranger Nila Patel, 56, near the Leicester Royal Infirmary (LRI) on 24 June last year. The 24-year-old, originally from Peckham in south-east London, had admitted manslaughter but denied murder, claiming diminished responsibility. At Leicester Crown Court on Monday, a jury found Ahanonu guilty of murder, and he is due to be sentenced on Tuesday.

Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans are keeping our airports in chaos and instilling fear in Illinoisans to pass a voter suppression bill — instead of paying our TSA agents. It’s time to get our nation’s airports back on track now.
