Just curious: how many failed / unfinished (saas) products do you have in your Github repository? I'm at 6, 7👐 All unfinished, never launched, collecting dust

@benjamincrozat I know the struggles, it's really hard to combine I work from home at my full time job, trying to build my own product on the side, evening hours when kids are asleep. It's not that easy, but you also can't ignore the fact that there are kids around.

Dad developers. How can you even work at home when you have a kid and a pregnant wife who are always interrupting you? Yes, I have my own office. But it seems like they are mistaking it for a hallway or something.

With just a subset of videos, I have enough to focus on creating content, creating short form videos from real vacancies. Then upload those to YT Shorts and TikTok to generate views and clicks / redirects That will strengthen my outreach to recruiters #buildinpublic

The power of permutations! For my tool VacancyVids I'm compiling videos that can be used to turn vacancies into short form videos. I use stock clips which are combined into 20 second videos. 6 stock clips turn into 720 20s videos. 20 stock clips would be 1.8 million videos

Showing value before I've actually build the full product. I've also shared some of these videos on LinkedIn, tagging the company of which the vacancy is and that also generated some eyes on my profile (no waiting lost subscriber yet) Slow but steady, I'll get there

I'm manually creating videos from actual vacancies and soon they will be shared on YT and TikTok. I will track views and redirects (unfortunately URLs aren't clickable). I'll then reach out to potential clients, with the result of the video of their own vacancy.

Currently building vacancyvids.com I ignored some of the typical saas advice like: validate first then build I'm trying to validate the idea now, while also building on the product. How? A small thread 👇

I haven't posted a message on here for quite some time. It doesn't mean I stopped building. Progress is slow I must say, but juggling a life with a full time job, a wife and two young kids, active social life and building a product on the side is not as easy as you might think

Do you plan you next years? I have a 10/5/1 plan, with a monthly planner on top. It’s always in vision, so when I sit behind my PC I can see the long term goal.
