Gusty southwest wind tomorrow, 40-50mph at times along with highs near 80

Hard to believe that tomorrow is May 1...during the month of May, gardening season begins as final frosts occur in the suburbs. We also cross the 8pm sunset threshold!

After spending the entire month with above average overall temperatures, April 2026 will go in the book as a BELOW average month thanks to the final week being below average each day (including today)

After a small amount of rain in the last 24 hours, April 2026 is going into the books about 2" below the average precipitation. Every month this year has been below average and Boston is now close to 6" below for 2026. (10 of 12 months were below in 2025)
