My son is 14 years old. Two weeks ago, he asked to speak with me alone. He closed the door to his room, sat on the edge of his bed, and began fidgeting with his hands while avoiding eye contact. I thought he was in trouble at school, that he had been punished, or that he had gotten into a fight with someone. I asked him several times what was wrong, but he didn’t answer. Finally, he said, very quietly, that he likes men. He told me that for a long time he had felt different whenever his classmates talked about girlfriends. Then he confessed that he liked a classmate. After that, he stopped speaking and just stared at the floor, as if he were expecting me to scream or stand up. His hands were shaking and his eyes were red, as though he had been preparing for hours to say those words. He said he had known for over a year. He first started noticing these feelings when he was 13. He had tried to ignore them, searched the internet for answers, and deleted his phone history every day out of fear that his father would check it.

Current crypto market dump is just foolish speculation by inexperienced traders, amplified by Binance manipulation. Always ask: 1. Why has my token dropped in value? 2. Is there a direct reason? 3. What has changed since a week ago? If you can't answer those questions then it is more than likely your token is moving with a much larger market correction. I look at XRP, I see super strong fundamentals, strong future outlook, many positive news items. If it is not moving up, it's not cos the token has failed. This entire uncertainty, pushed down further by the likes of Binance, will pass, like it always has. Trump is a deal maker, he uses tarrifs as a negotiation gambit. A trade war between China and USA will hurt USA equally as much as China and the rest of the world. There is no business case for that. As sure as the sun rising, my gut and instinct tells me that this momentary trade war will be over in a matter of days and weeks. And this will all bounce back with a vengeance. If you're feeling a pinch, hurting cos you just lost 50% of your portfolio, then what I do (not financial advice) is reassess my position, take stock of my finances and if permitted, I batten down the hatches and ride this storm. It's a great time to just switch off, stop trying to go nuts on X for hours a day looking for a glimmer of hope or assurance you have made the right call.
