@wbbmayer Yeah, I feel like this is what I’m struggling with too. We want Paige to stay aggressive even if the roster is deep. We don’t want to unlearn stuff that worked last year. I know these aren’t desperate times, but will we see 40 piece Paige again if these stats bear out? Doubtful.

Paige Bueckers' usage rate thru her first 2 games is 18.1% with a 15.9% assist rate. Last season, her usage was 24.1% with a 29.5 AST%. After her first 2 games last season (2025), her usage rate was 20.5% and her assist rate was 27.3%. But her usage and assist rate constantly ticked up as the season went on. I hope Jose knows what he's doing, because it seems even Chris Koclanes understood that most Dallas Wings possessions should end WITH Paige or FROM Paige.

@lilipadkidah A bad game for Paige is a good game for others. Because she’s so efficient she takes better shots than others and she needs to take more. Teams need to build like the Aces, a bunch of stars but they know A’ja is the moon. IMO, even when she’s facilitating, that should be Paige.
