A German court has sentenced four Syrian brothers to prison after finding them guilty of the attempted murder of their German-language teacher, Hisham A., in Wedel, Schleswig-Holstein.
The brothers, identified as Ali A., Besam A., Omar A., and Salih A., believed the 67-year-old teacher was having an affair with their mother. Prosecutors said they lured him to the parking lot of the Wedel Adult Education Center by claiming one brother needed help with a German-language assignment.
Once there, one brother distracted the teacher while another slashed his neck from behind before stabbing him multiple times in the neck and torso, leaving him with life-threatening injuries. A third brother took part in the attack while the fourth acted as a lookout, the court found.
The victim had spent years teaching German to refugees and had previously taught both the attackers' parents. Prosecutors said the brothers learned of the alleged relationship with their mother the night before the attack and planned the assault in retaliation.
The two adult brothers were each sentenced to 7.5 years in prison, the 19-year-old received 6 years under juvenile law and the youngest brother, who was 17 at the time of the attack, was sentenced to 4 years.

Serious moment from today’s drive.
I was going down a quiet countryside road when a deer suddenly jumped out right in front of the Tesla. Moments like this are exactly why manual driving stresses me out.
I’ve already driven my Tesla over 5,000 miles across Italy, France, Germany, and Luxembourg in just two months — and I’m still the one behind the wheel the entire time. I really need Full Self-Driving. I know I’ll be much safer when the car reacts instead of me.
Tesla saves lives every single day around the world. I can’t wait until my Tesla becomes that robot that watches over me and handles situations like this.

One of the biggest unanswered questions about the German rollout is how FSD will handle the Autobahn 👀
It seems unlikely to see Tesla raising the FSD speed limit to accommodate unrestricted zones, and we definitely aren't getting a localized Autobahn-specific version anytime soon 🪴
So the most logical workaround might be GPS geofencing. Tesla will likely just disable FSD when you hit the on-ramp and default back to standard Autopilot 💡
