🇺🇸🇮🇷 CENTCOM just confirmed: Project Freedom begins today, May 4.
US Central Command forces are moving to restore freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
This is the most direct US challenge to Iran's control of the strait since the war began. Oil is already below $100 on the announcement alone.
Iran said no ship passes without their permission.
CENTCOM just said otherwise.
The next move belongs to the IRGC.

Hezbollah’s guy in the Lebanese parliament laid out the resistance’s red lines for any ceasefire:
- Immediate halt to all aggression with zero conditions
- Complete and unconditional Israeli withdrawal
- All displaced people back to their villages
- Release of prisoners
- Full reconstruction of destroyed areas

🇺🇸 THE US IS FAST-TRACKING $8.6 BILLION IN ARMS TO THE MIDDLE EAST. BYPASSING CONGRESS Rubio invoked emergency authority to skip congressional review. Qatar gets $4bn in Patriot interceptor missiles. Israel, UAE, and Kuwait get precision guidance systems and integrated air defense worth billions more. The reason: Gulf allies have been under sustained missile and drone attack since the Iran war began. Their stockpiles are depleted. So are America's. Here's the part that should concern NATO: The same week the Pentagon told Poland, the UK, Estonia, and Lithuania to expect serious delays on their weapons deliveries. The Iran war has drained US munitions stockpiles. A CSIS study found the US has enough missiles to keep fighting Iran... but not enough to also deter China over Taiwan. Iranian report:
Iran submitted a 14-point counterproposal to the U.S. 9-point offer through Pakistani mediation, per Tasnim.
The U.S. proposed a 2-month ceasefire. Iran wants all issues resolved in 30 days. Demands include U.S. military withdrawal from Iran's periphery, lifting the naval blockade, unfreezing assets, compensation, sanctions relief, and an end to fighting on all fronts including Lebanon. Iran says it awaits a formal U.S. response.
