I keep wondering… if Panichelli had stayed fit and avoided that season-ending ACL injury, would Barcelona be seriously looking at him now as a potential Lewandowski replacement? I really liked him for us. Was hoping to see him in the World Cup for Argentina

@FCBLedeni He’s never played with a self sufficient winger since his debut. He’s done more for the team, don’t be naive.

Balde has serious potential, but he needs to learn how to do more without overly relying on his pace. Even when he’s in the opposition box, he still acts like a defender, hope I’m making sense. It’s unfortunate that he’s doing more width holding. Give him the keys to be more involved in the box and he will flourish.

Joao/Alvarez too, not because they aren't good, because their prices makes them someone extraordinary, which they're not. That's where Barca comes in, they can make a bet into the trap, or they can go cheaper & developmental. Kroupi is a far reach. One because his price will be higher than I stated and two because his agent is Mousa Sissoko. Still Barca should test the water, though it not land. But he's everything Barca's philosophy needs him to be. This leaves Barca with Joao Pedro and Asllani. If Deco and co are smart at the slightest, they should either go for Pedro at a fair price. If not feasible, Asllani is there to steal.

Kroupi definitely won’t be cheap, but he’s way more realistic than both Alvarez and Pedro.
