Mama Anita, with utmost respect, I strongly feel that Hon. Yusuf Nsibambi did not merit such a grand and high level reception. If he genuinely believed in the principles and ideology of the NRM, he would have joined while he was still serving as a Member of Parliament. Choosing to cross over only after losing his seat raises questions about motive and timing. Commitment to a movement should be based on conviction, not circumstance. NRM is a welcoming and inclusive movement, and we appreciate that it accommodates those who reconsider their political paths. However, this level of celebration seems disproportionate. A formal reception at the NRM Secretariat by the Secretary General and his staff would have been more appropriate and dignified. This guy, following his defeat, he withdrew community support initiatives he had previously funded. True patriotism and public service should not be conditional upon holding office. Leadership is tested most in moments of disappointment, not victory. This move is more strategic than ideological, While everyone has the right to choose their political home, such choices should be met with measured recognition, not extraordinary elevation. NRM should reward loyalty, consistency, and demonstrated commitment above all.🙏.

@MwesigyeFranks I think Omona must also leave KAMPALA within the next 24 hours. Every citizen has a right to live and travel to any part of UGANDA. Does he want to mean that Northern Uganda is a sovereign state where non-norherners require permission of movement or stay?

Ever since Omona found out that I have cows in northern Uganda, he launched a campaign to chase away the balalo. He even went as far as lying to Mzee, claiming that the balalo are a threat to the northern region. This is blatant tribalism. Anyway, you can’t hate cows and expect to be successful, Omona!
