@AiaAmare I would do this all the time with my friends, but instead of locking eyes with someone, I would write something down or typing something on my laptop. It frequently resulted in the players asking to make perception checks.

confession: sometimes when I DM, if a player is talking, I will roll a random dice from behind the screen, lock eyes with another player, smirk, and proceed to do nothing. I like going on power trips like this :3
