Sentinels' Masters Madrid content hit 2 million views. So why does their content today struggle to reach 10% of that on the same subscriber count? Much like most esports teams, Sentinels suffer from "the winning trap." Instead of building audiences, winning content creates one-time viewership injections. These are fans whose only attachment condition was the winning narrative. When wins stop, subscribers stay but become ghosts. Sentinels' post-Madrid content only amplified this. Every video was result-dependent: voice comms from winning, championship vlogs, match reactions. None of these build brand retention that survives without winning. Outliers like "Every Kill Sentinels Gain 5 FPS" work because there's a narrative understandable to anyone who plays Valorant. That's the blueprint they haven't built on. Winning gives you an audience for the moment. Making it last requires building organizational identity while the attention exists, not more content about winning.

@ChildOfAnasrava Cerydra is 20% better than RMC ( a free chararcter ) while Evernight is 50-65% better depending on if you have Cyrene for Castorice byw. Being BiS for someone doesn’t make them good

@mixxpilled good doesnt equal t0 though, based on prydwens own data (at e0) sparxie/silverwolf significantly outperform the others in terms of least avg cycles in moc with castorice/evernight and dot teams with over a whole cycle of longer avg clear time which might not sound like much but-

@hysidotter @Riotpersona Kafka is not 0 cost, being free temporarily doesn’t make them 0 cost. Most players agree one limited = cost. Even the free ones, sites like sktheherta (0 cycle showcases) has it counted as a cost.

@Riotpersona @hysidotter Do we not read? Eva can cheat because she only has YG and can use free MC. This has nothing to do with characters needing their teammates. It’s more so one only needs 1 teammate and the only needs 2. (2 cost vs 3 cost)

Los que están en el server de Idy ya habrán visto los gameplays de Acheron. Hay algunas runs que no puedo comentar por respeto a la gente que desea mantenerlas en privado, pero solo puedo decir que Acheron medio ya se defiende en los ciclos 0 en sus matchups. Blade SP es un excelente personaje que, por obvios motivos, se encuentra en la Tier SS. Ashveil es otro personaje que se beneficia de Blade SP; mejora muchísimo más su rendimiento en los ciclos 0. Incluso puede estar por encima de Evanescia; pero necesito más información para asegurar eso. Tribbie gano mucho valor en los ciclos 0 gracias a la salida de Blade SP, personajes como Acheron, E9, Ashveil, Feixiao y Mydei son sus BIS. Archer bajo poquito su rendimiento en PomPom Boss y se cree que puede tener un rendimiento regular en Himeko Boss, motivo por el cual se bajo a la categoria S junto a Sparkle. Castorice sigue teniendo problemas en contenidos Elation. Sparxie subio gracias a esos contenidos que benefician a Elation. The Herta y March Break se bajaron porque ya no tienen el rendimiento para estar en Tier A.
