Y'all are too damn old to still be struggling with race, ethnicity and nationality. Black is not an ethnicity, it's a race - what you present as when people look at you. All Black people that are legal citizens here are Black American. Ethnicity is where differentiation occurs. We are African-American, someone born in Nigeria but a citizen here is ethnically Nigerian, thus making them Nigerian-American but they're still Black. Nationality is where you have legal status or citizenship. You can be multiple nationalities.
