Today in ACE summer camp….. Campers showed off their carpentry skills by building planes, banks, and trucks. Campers also learned how add vinyl to a shirt. @Hilley_ES #TxACE #TeamSISD

Had the privilege of visiting Texas ACE sites today. Spring break camp is “Going Green” and learning about how to take care of the earth 🌎 #hdhilley #teamsisd

To end ACE goes green @Hilley_ES scholars competed in groups to see who could make the best Fairy house. The class then voted for our winner. We also watched Fern Gully. Our scholars received a certificate for being an Earth Warrior and Junior Entomologist. #TxACE #TeamSISD

Last day of ACE goes green!!! @Hilley_ES scholars worked on positive thinking. They colored and repeated positive affirmations. #SEL Scholars painted their handcrafted clay pots and planted their sprouting seed bombs. They also made bird feeder with cereal. #TxACE #TeamSISD

Day 3 of ACE goes green @Hilley_ES scholars worked on glitter jars that can be used to calm during a stressful situation. Scholars also worked on sun printed art and continued studying our Harvesting ants. #TeamSISD #TxACE
