Sierra’s At-Bat Details • Calvin Schiraldi (1-1) relieved Clemens to start the 9th and retired the first two batters. • He walked Larry Parrish. • Sierra, a 20-year-old rookie outfielder, then crushed a two-run homer for his 8th of the season (and the game-winner). • It was a no-doubt shot; Sierra later said he knew it was gone the moment he hit it.
