HB 2187, the nurse staffing bill, just passed the Texas House unanimously with 134 ayes and 0 nays! Now the bill heads to the Senate where we will ask for similarly broad support. The bill also received unanimous support with a 13 to 0 vote in the House Public Health Committee.
