@Th3MetaM1nd

A reasonable take. Needed more characters for election season.

Tired of being labeled a Conservative or a Liberal so Im going to pin my views and reasons for wasting time this month X I joined Twitter during this election because I was tired of watching large and small accounts—on all sides—push half-truths, misrepresentations, and blatant misinformation with no accountability. There’s a growing disconnect between political narratives and reality, and I couldn’t handle it. The divisiveness is crazy, and when you talk to people from all spectrums the root of what they want in life and from government is very similar. We as people need to realize that there is more ways than one to solve a problem. I’m not here to fight for a team—I’m here to fight for facts, accountability, and better ideas. I’m open-minded, willing to debate respectfully, and happy to admit when I’m wrong. I want my perspective challenged—because that’s how we grow. I’m not a partisan— there's no party that reflects a vision of Canada that I feel is both achievable and genuinely beneficial. I’d describe myself as a centrist or independent: socially progressive, fiscally responsible. I believe in helping the less fortunate, protecting freedoms for all, and supporting thoughtful social programs. I support legalization and responsible immigration—not open borders, but a fair, structured system. I don’t believe in government taking over where small businesses and entrepreneurs already thrive. But I also believe unchecked corporate power is dangerous—no company should outlive generations without limits. As a new parent, I worry about mounting deficits and the burden we’re passing on. Canada has the resources, talent, and spirit to lead the world—if we focus on smart innovation, strong infrastructure, responsible environmental action, and real unity. No party has earned my vote yet. Although in my riding, it won't matter. Until then, I’ll be right here—engaged, skeptical, and hopeful. P.S. If you’ve blocked me, it’s likely because you couldn’t handle a fact-based debate and preferred the comfort of your echo chamber. That’s your choice—but it runs counter to the spirit of open dialogue this platform was built for. Don’t worry though, I haven’t forgotten. Your name’s been noted, and when the wall of shame goes up—you’ll have a spot. #cdnpoli #Election2025 #IndependentVoices #OpenDebate

Seems like most people against high speed rail in Canada assume that everyone will ride it for free. And they also appear to assume that there will be no economic or environmental spinoff. We never hear them complain about building more highways or bridges.

@TheChaosWeeber Has to be a bot.. Suddenly all cons are against "rail" like Canadians walk around with VIA rail jackets being super proud of the unaffordable mode of transportation that it currently is.

@PaulStewartII Yes, I see the GDP growth, I think $27B is a huge over estimate. But conservatively let's say $15B. Pays for itself in 10 years, unlikely. But wheres the money come from today, when we're buying $24B in subs, $9B in planes, & $90B on a train. Can we create some wealth somewhere?

@PaulStewartII Also Nation building projects that take 2 decades to complete 1,000 km's of rail sound like we're not a very competent nation. Carney mentioned warp speed, this feels like the opposite of that. And Canadians can't afford the burden of a project like California's HSR.

@Selkis_2028 @JDVance That is insane. To trust the vp to fix the issues of this administration. They're liars and grifters. You don't think JD is bought and paid for now?

@AntSpeaks You mean where he's asking a "intellectual" to debate him on X or on a pod and the person is refusing..

Dave wants everyone to believe he’s some kind of profound intellectual, but the moment he argues with someone on X, he sounds like a 12 year old. 🥲

@ChristianHeiens You wrote a lot, admitted to not listening. And got told that what your saying is not reflective of what is being discussed. So some could point out that this gifting off outrage, low IQ behaviour is actually what you're doing..

Yes, IQ rates are plummeting and the Third World population is bigger than ever before. We already knew that. Anyone who still takes Candace or Dave seriously at this point is an idiot. "Retard Right" doesn't even begin to describe these people. I wouldn't even call these people Right-wing. They're just engagement-baiting slopfluencers who offer nothing of value whatsoever. No theory of politics. No path to power. No goals. No organizational strategy. Nothing but grifting off outrage, conspiracy theories, and low-IQ populist dribble to an increasingly dumbed-down audience.

Theo Von's crash out makes it obvious that the fake shit from the woke right is dangerous,, man. Like him sayinf "All of our money goes to Israel". Wrong. It's a very small portion of our budget, but it's important to understand this too... Almost every single dollar is sent right back into the U.S. economy, meaning it supports American jobs, provides an economic boost, and strengthens domestic defense manufacturing. Almost all of it, 99% in fact, is provided in the form of Foreign Military Financing (FMF), which MUST be spent on U.S. produced military equipment, weapons systems, etc... which creates and sustains thousands jobs across the country. U.S. aid DOES NOT pay for healthcare, or anything else in Israel. None at all. The black pillers and groypers aren't capable of understanding much. They like to crash and spread false information. I'll be called a "Jew", a "Cuck for Israel", and all kinds of shit for this post, and i don't care. It's important that people understand things.

@hey_im_your_fav @danishacarterr Wouldn't have changed the results to not vote. Irrelevant to not put fourth a democratically chosen candidate as a major party is a crazy take.

@Th3MetaM1nd @danishacarterr anyone who watched Trump's first term, listened to him campaign wherein he SAID he would do all of the bad things he's doing, then still voted for him can't be shocked or surprised. that's stupid. what the Democrats did or didn't do is irrelevant. not voting was an option too!

Here’s @TheoVon chilling w two Zionist nepo-fuckfaces. The screwball NOW laments about Trump, while he has profited big from being in the Trump orbit. These grifters want to have it both ways - always monetizing for clicks and views. Scumbags. Don’t excuse them.

@ryanjespersen @andrew_leach Same argument was made 10 years ago. Same argument can be made about any infrastructure as we're seeing with the train this week. But pretty obvious to say, Canada made mistakes with their policy and now we're unable to support allies and ourselves within Canada.

“Pipelines aren’t bets on today’s oil prices. If we’re building one today, it’s ’What’s the price of oil in 2035 or 2050?’” @andrew_leach spells out what’s at stake as Alberta-Ottawa MOU negotiations miss the April 1 deadline. #abpoli #cdnpoli

When we look back on US foreign policy, we can say the biggest blunder our lawmakers made was telling us post-911 that Islam isn’t our enemy. Humanity will forever be at war with Mohammedans. We need leaders who choose us over the Mohammedans and understand this is a war of us vs them. Until Islam falls, there will never be peace on Earth. It’s just the reality. I don’t think 2 billions Muslims are just going away anytime soon. It’s a shame for the future of humanity that we have all been gaslit into thinking we can coexist with Mohammedans. Lots of tough decisions ahead.
