One of the most underrated single runs of all time

Although the hook to this Independent Platinum song (almost 2X) was recorded very early on in the “Up & Away” sessions, Ink had a difficult time finding the right lyrics for the verses to finalize this masterpiece. I think I harassed him daily for 3 months to finish this song, I just knew it was special. The night before we had to turn in the album I finally got his verses. Sidenote: Nipsey was gonna be on the Remix to this record alongside MGK but notoriously Nip moved at his own pace when recording and we got impatient and released it before ever getting his verse. In hindsight I really wish we waited 😢🏁🕊️
