What makes Messi great are not those flashy stuffs, that's for the likes of Neymar, Yamal, Quaresma. I mean, how many times do you see Messi try a trivela per game, even in his prime? How many times do you see him try to dribble past five players when he's clearly not progressing the ball towards goal? How many times do you see him play an individual game? Check the simplicity of all his actions and you'd understand why there's no player past, present or in the future that would be able to match his greatness. Yamal tries too hard to do things all by himself in a team sport, players like that don't have affect games in the latter minutes when it matters most, cos they've exhausted their energy too early. Plus, they rarely have a long career due to the number of times they get fouled. You think he's better than Messi because he holds on to the ball for longer period, something he ends up losing more often than not. If Messi decides to dribble more than two players at a time, you and I know that action is most likely ending up with a shot, either through him, or through another teammate. Please respect Messi's name
