The Mining Guy. 👷🏾‍♂️
Gold mining in South Africa is among the oldest in the industry, which makes conditions more hazardous than in many other commodities. Operations are now pushed deep underground into complex environments, relying on older, labour-intensive methods. Combined with deep-level risks like rockbursts, extreme heat, seismic activity, heavy machinery, and poor air quality. Add illegal mining and human factors, the danger is significantly heightened.

@TheMiningGuySA Why there's always fatalities in the gold mines..? curious to know

PSG rested 9 players today. They played a 2-2 draw against Lorient. Bayern Munich rested 7 players. They drew 3-3 at home against Heidenheim. I look forward to that game. Both teams are well rested. They’ve also not had great dress rehearsals for what will be a very close, exhilarating game. Perfectly, delicately poised.

Remember on worker’s day that the DA voted against the minimum wage for domestic workers and farmworkers . Know your DA ! Instead they propose an opt out clause where a worker can agree to R2200 a month . Minimum wage now between R4400 and R4600 per month
DA Gauteng@DAGauteng

"Workers' Day is hollow when millions of South Africans lack jobs." - Geordin Hill-Lewis, DA Leader 31.4% of South Africans are officially unemployed. You cannot celebrate workers while millions are locked out of work entirely. Where the DA governs, more jobs are created for all. Read the full statement: da.org.za/2026/05/south-…
