On Mar 28, a massive earthquake hit central Myanmar. Entire towns are in ruins, and survivors are queuing for clean water in the scorching heat.

Myanmar Ocean Project is excited to be selected as one of the ASEAN Blue Innovation Challenge winners. MOP DROP (Myanmar Ocean Project, Disposal Rig for Ocean Plastic) is a pontoon in the archipelago to allow fishers to dispose of end-of-life fishing gear while working at sea.

Looking at this map feels surreal. I poked around this whole area in 2021 cause there’s lots of hammered 🦈 pups & dugongs in the area. The beaches are beautiful and I took a lot of solace in them. Now everyone I’ve become friends with are starving & displaced.
