The rules on sign and trades make it more likely that Denver receives draft pick compensation instead of an actual player contract, but if Denver were to go down this road, I have to imagine they’d like some sort of player in return.

About Peyton Watson: He might want to be paid more than Christian Braun. That doesn't mean he will get paid more than Christian Braun. The Nuggets are 100% going to apply the Restricted Free Agency squeeze on him if he doesn't get an offer from another team.

I will believe Denver stays above the second apron when I see it.
I suspect that part of the reason that’s coming out is they’re trying to regain some negotiating leverage, while also appealing to LeBron as a destination.

@G1DBAM Tyus was the best out of Him, Bruce, and Pickett imo. It’s a minimum signing. Nuggets are extremely limited in what they can do with QO’s to Watson and Jones. All they can do is minimum deals until those contracts get figured out. Lebron was never coming to Denver
