@shas_kais Having read through these excerpts and your summation, it’s def an intriguing concept. I would have to wonder what the motivation would even be to unleash the Tyranids upon the galaxy if the “intent” of the Necrons was for them to regain their oeganic status.

Swerving away from my usual coverage of T'au lore to highlight something sussy in the Necron's. In White Dwarf issue 450, a bombshell plot thread was dropped. The lore article about the Silent King features a conversation between a Shadowseer of the Dreaming Shadow (A harlequin troupe dedicated to opposing the Necrons) and Inquisitor Draxus whose life mission is the extermination of the Necron threat. The implication given in their interlocution is that.....the Silent King is the creator of the Tyranids. They are his weapons, his scourge unleashed on the galaxy.
