As an Editor, I can confirm that this is so true, meetings and talking about how you want stuff matters so much, I have also very often if meetings or regular talks are mentioned and it's met with resistance or not wanting to give direction, I've walked away/not took offers specifically for things like this. You can't just pay an Editor rate for Editors to Source, Direct, Edit, Package, and Oragnise and expect them to read your mind, and do it exactly how you want it. It's always very clear to me who puts in the effort and who offloads stuff, there's more of a personal touch, more passion, and it also gives the Editors the drive too, you feel a part of a team effort and respected.

@Flats_OW With the current state of the game with the current update to team ups and such, playing games feels IMPOSSIBLE, especially in lower ranks where hero bans aren’t a thing, so the super broken team ups run rampant (same goes for QP).

@Pheromoan Exactly! Sometimes it’s needed so that person can check their mic settings and potentially save a whole ass recording/streaming session

i normally go "hey are you on the right mic?" this lets them know that something might be wrong, then if they ask the problem a simple "you seem much louder today, i gotta turn you down a touch" it will let them know to check their settings IF something is actually wrong. UNLESS YOU'RE MY FRIEND. then it's just "damn bitch you loud" 🩷
