one of the worst autistic experiences is finding out someone built a case against you in silence and never gave you one clear chance to understand or fix it.

@Dimememem For some reason, people can't be normal, and turn what should be a simple call-out into a cry for blood, to the point where the original reason for the call-out is gone. It's anti-activism for the sake of bullying.

@Dimememem It's a problem with basically any creator who gets too big. Sometimes there is a legit reason to call out a creator, but then people who want an excuse to hate pounce on literally anything to try and manufacture more hate to the point that people get harassed over random shit.

@CStickernoodle Yeah no, I'm with you. If Goose was actively saying harmful racist shit, and there was concrete evidence, then by all means, call her out. But this? This ain't it.

Can people just show me a clear and irrefutable list of things Gooseworx has done to show that she’s racist? I just haven’t seen any evidence

@CStickernoodle The closest thing so far that I've seen is when she called an inverted-colour version of Angel Dust "Nega Angel." It's in the same stream that Michael and Ashley were called out in, only Goose is using the term for it's intended use. x.com/ChronicleOrang…

Just for context: here’s the full uncropped “nega-Angel” screenshot. Ashley drew a green Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel, and Abby laughed saying “you know there’s white, right?” Gooseworx said “that’s nega-Angel” in response.

@Gatsbys_lament And it's probably because it's niche that people immediately saw it as something else. The term itself isn't bad, as long as you use it for it's intended use, which some people clearly aren't.

@Gatsbys_lament It was used in stuff like Fairly Odd Parents, Scott Pilgrim, and other media for evil versions of otherwise good characters. Kind of like how the opposite of Superman is Bizarro Superman. It was more of a niche writing trope than it was a mainstream thing.

I wanna know when ppl started saying “nega” for a shortened version of negative because most of my time on the internet I’ve seen “neg” or “/neg” be used

@C0sm1cSt4rdust If there's anything that the internet has taught me, it's that things you think were harmless today will be seen as problematic in the future. The same will happen to the people currently harassing creators. Their karma will come.
