My dad and grandma are coming to visit me in El Salvador soon 🇸🇻💙 I’d love to take them to Lago de Coatepeque and have lunch or dinner on one of those ferry boats on the lake. Does anyone know which restaurant offers that? I’d love to plan something special for them. ✨

@ThatExpatMom They might have a small tiki‑bar‑style boat, but we didn’t check it out. The vibe was very Tulum-ish & chill. Now "Restaurante Las Palmeras" has a big ferry & food. Plus a slide that goes straight into the lake. Super fun. Our family greatly enjoyed both places

MY DAD IS COMING TO EL SALVADOR NEXT WEEK!!! It will be his first trip and I'm so excited to show him EVERYTHING! We only have 6 days where should we go?

@ThatExpatMom El faro for sure…. Make that your main point of reference in Coatepeque… once there you will find other options but el Faro has the restaurant and one of the Ferry boats, I believe is $5 for a half an hour trip around the lake…. Que disfruten!.
