@yavrukeci I'm criticising that the show writers failed to develop the world and narrative much beyond Aziraphale and Crowley after S1 because they chose to focus on the romance. And how that impacted the perception of the Finale. I don't know how that didn't come across.

You can dislike the writing of the movie and find how the ending came about unsatisfactory for a multitude of reasons. Like how a show about humanity didn't have humans confront god for how they have been treated and get to reject her. That Jesus didn't get to. Just to start.

@yavrukeci If the writers wanted to give the philosophical angle of considering the human condition prominence, then building up the human storylines should have taken priority over cashing in on Aziraphale and Crowley banter Even then, they still could have done better with Jesus at least

@yavrukeci S1 while giving Aziraphale & Crowley a lot more prominence than the book still contained multiple human character plotlines S2 and 3 completely sidelined human stories in favour of dedicating time to Aziraphale & Crowley's relationship That's a fault in adaptation, not the fans

@yavrukeci Why do you need to condescend to people who are disappointed that the leading characters romance that the adaptation created a central focus on didn't have a satisfying resolution to though? Like why blame the fans for what expectations the writers created in the adaptation?

@ThatFiendd I didn't actually say anything about whether people should like the finale or not. My point was specifically about reducing the entire show to just a romance between two characters. Please don't take my words out of context, just to start.

@redfrommars @veezveesy But Adam brought back the same people, the interaction with the delivery driver proves that. Adam rejected Heaven and Hell having the right to influence humans and destroy them, and restored the earth as it was because for all its flaws it was worth fixing as it was
