The reason Gyokeres hasnt worked is the distances. The only way you connect him to the rest of the team is through short passes. He would suit a short passing team more that plays through the lines. Our style is too direct and we often attack from wide.

Changing the manager will always be a gamble. The only candidate who I think would *guarantee* improvement is Enrique. His football is phenomenal. Not sure he would move. Difficult to predict how likes of Glasner, Iraola, Cesc, Zidane, Maresca, Inzaghi et al. would do.

I can say with all honesty that I have enjoyed watching Arsenal this season. Not all 53 matches have been classics and there are ups and downs but yeah it’s been good. I remember seasons where I’ve dreaded turning the game on and just haven’t felt it this season.
