Red, Captain Goro Majima, and Arle are coming to the game!
The first two are coming in April, while Arle is coming in May. A mystery character is currently slated for March. Could be Mega Man.
A "SEGA Racing & Variety" OST is also coming, including music from various SEGA racers.

IDW's introductory panels, and even the recaps, have always felt like a total downgrade from Archie's. Third image isn't too bad with the emeralds in the bkg, but overall, where did the sauce go??

feel like this just kind of a nothing burger rumor.
this is already happening. year of shadow and shadow generations were done to directly align with sonic movie 3, etc.
it stands to reason that kind of synergy across the brand will continue lol

So this doesnt mean ONE big shared universe, its unification Its more like creative alignment with film, TV & games around the same themes, character direction & long-term plans. Each their own continuities but similarites stay consistent with references across them
