Today my team is releasing our previous game Sands of Aura on consoles. Crossing fingers it does well!

Haven't posted in a while... took a minute to brush off all the cobwebs.
I've been wanting to post this for a while, finished it last year! Its the trailer I made the console release of Sands of Aura! (xbox, switch, ps on feb 26).
Made with unreal engine5! took like 6 months of work total.

Flying through the new exterior for the mine shaft fathom.
Its an old undersea mining facility where they fabricate something called amber tallow.
we're experimenting with the pcg system to try and get large, randomized undersea biomes.

Right now im setting up a sequence of Fathoms (levels/maps) for our first internal play test with enemy anomalies.
It'll be the first play test where we'll have a proper vertical slice. To see if the game design is going in the right direction.

Well... my port scene was looking cool till I was told it doesn't really show what the game is at all...
WOOPS.
So here's v2 even spookier, at the bottom of the sea. what happens to most of the crew trying to get to the bottom of the silver sea.

Continuing to set up the more complex interaction systems in the submarine. this week I'm focusing on the Engine. It will basically be a whole mini game.
- Shovel coal in to generate power
- Purge smokestack (yes its coalpowered sub) or the sub will fill with smoke
- and fix pressure leaks on the 6 different pipes that spawn the sub when they malfunction.
Each pipe goes to each of the major rooms of the sub. would be cool if they rooms are unpowered if the specific pipe loses pressure.
