اصل مسئلہ صرف ایک ڈاکٹر کی تذلیل نہیں، بلکہ پورے میڈیکل سسٹم میں غیر ضروری مداخلت ہے۔ یہ بیوروکریٹس آخر میڈیکل فیلڈ میں آ کر ڈاکٹرز کو ہدایات دینے والے کون ہوتے ہیں؟ ان کا کام انتظامی معاملات دیکھنا ہے، نہ کہ مریض کے علاج اور clinical decisions میں مداخلت کرنا۔ CT Scan، ICU admission یا کسی بھی investigation کا فیصلہ صرف qualified doctors اور consultants کرتے ہیں، نہ کہ وہ لوگ جنہیں basic medical protocols کا بھی علم نہیں۔ افسوس کی بات یہ ہے کہ جن لوگوں کے اپنے دفاتر، عدالتیں، فائلیں اور انتظامی معاملات ہیں، وہ سب چھوڑ کر ہسپتالوں میں آ کر frontline doctors کو ہراساں کرتے ہیں۔ اگر اتنا ہی شوق ہے تو کبھی ہمارے ساتھ emergency duty کر کے دیکھیں، تب اندازہ ہوگا کہ چند سیکنڈ میں جان بچانے کے فیصلے کیسے کیے جاتے ہیں۔ ایک خاتون ڈاکٹر کی سرِعام تذلیل صرف ایک فرد کی نہیں بلکہ پورے medical profession کی بے عزتی ہے۔ مہذب معاشروں اور ہمارے ہاں کو فرق آپ دیکھ سکتے ہیں حالانکہ یہ چوتیا عقل سے فارغ بیوروکریسی ایسٹ انڈیا کمپنی کی سوغات ہے مگر وہاں آج بھی ہسپتال میں جاکر کوئی ایسی گھٹیا شعبدہ بازی نہیں کر سکتا۔۔۔۔
