For #ThrowbackThursday, I’m going back to a doctor’s office in India. I was there with my mother, full of hope because I had been referred for surgery to "fix" my sight. We had gone through all the tests and examinations, and we were finally sitting across from the specialist to hear the plan. That’s when the doctor dropped the bombshell: There would be no surgery. I would never be able to see again. I can still feel the silence in that room. Everything I thought my life would be vanished in a single sentence. It wasn't just a medical diagnosis; it was the end of the world as I knew it. But looking back now, nearly 20 years later, I realize that while that doctor closed one door, a different kind of vision was starting to take shape. It took years to process, but that "bombshell" didn't destroy my life—it just redirected it. #TBT #ThrowbackThursday #VisionBeyondSight #Resilience #MyStory #ThatBlindDude #BeninCity

I remember one day I went to visit my Man, only to find him with another woman 😭💔 I was so shocked I started screaming, and he looked at me calm like “why are you making noise?” I asked him, “who is this woman?” and he was like “which woman?” I was like “stop making me a fool, can’t you see there’s a woman next to you?!” and this man had the audacity to sit me down, gave me water, and said “babe are you okay? I think I need to call your mom because your spiritual things are starting again, you’re seeing things” 😭 at that moment I didn’t know if I was really seeing things or if he was playing me, meanwhile the woman was quietly busy putting on her clothes like she doesn’t exist 😭 . I kept insisting “ there’s someone here!” and this guy went to fetch candles and said we need to pray about this whole thing 🤣 and me being me, I went along, we prayed, said amen… and just like that, the woman was nowhere to be seen 😭 he looked at me and asked “are you still seeing someone?” and I said no, and he said “you see… God and ancestors do hear” I asked him to take me home I have been single since that day, I want nothing to do with the other gender 😩😭.

Temi Otedola is trending because she described Mr. Eazi as a ‘childish’ communicator. [Video] Temi said whenever she offends him, she finds out through an email, even after asking him about 10x if he’s upset. Yet while they are in the same flat, she just gets a notification, and it’s an epistle from him narrating everything she did that upset him and how they can move forward. Eazi explained that, he rather texts, because he could say somethings and they’d come out harsh. Yet, Temi is saying, she can take it. He should let it out, but she understands that’s his way of communication and she’s glad he’s working on it. At their wedding in Iceland, Daddy Otedola advised them to keep their marriage off third parties. But now, fans feel they are slowly losing the plot. Others think Eazi is just afraid to provoke her because of her father’s billionaire status. The couple had this brief exchange in the latest episode 6 of their “How Far Podcast”, titled: HoneyMoon Special. •• Avoid a living crisis, move your estate. Pay only for what you use. We’ve all seen the movies where a blind person has "super-hearing" like a superhero. It’s a cool story, but it’s a total myth. The truth? My ears aren't magical. I don't hear sounds that you don't. The difference is “attention”. Because I don't use sight to navigate, I’ve had to train my brain to actually “listen” to the data that most people ignore—the tap of a cane, the change in an echo, or the direction of a voice. It’s not a superpower; it’s a skill. It’s hard work and years of practice. When you take away one source of information, you just learn to become a master of the ones you have left. I’m not Daredevil. I’m just a man who’s worked very hard to turn his remaining senses into a high-level strategy for living. #MythBustingWednesday #BlindnessMyths #VisionBeyondSight #RealTalk #ThatBlindDude #BeninCity

Exam season is officially here, and honestly, the pressure is on. I’m currently deep into my digital marketing finals. Hitting the books is a bit different for me—it’s a lot of intense listening, tactile analysis, and building mental maps of how these algorithms actually work. When you can’t just skim a page with your eyes, you have to really *own* the information to understand it. It’s exhausting, but there’s something rewarding about mastering these details. I'm not just trying to pass; I'm trying to make sure I’m the best at what I do. Time to get back to it. Wish me luck. #DigitalMarketing #ExamSeason #VisionBeyondSight #ThatBlindDude #BeninCity

The fear of making a mistake is the biggest barrier to progress. We wait for the "perfect" plan because we are afraid of the humilation of being wrong. In the nearly two decades I’ve spent walking without sight, I’ve learned that the only way to find the right path is to occasionally hit the wrong one. A mistake is simply a physical signal that the strategy needs an adjustment. Whether I’m navigating a physical room or a complex business project, I don't aim for a "mistake-free" life. I aim for a "correction-heavy" life. The person who wins isn't the one who never trips; it’s the one who realizes they’ve tripped, analyzes why it happened, and adjusts their gait before the next step. Don't let the fear of a stumble keep you stationary. The mistake is the classroom. The correction is the graduation. #MotivationalMonday #VisionBeyondSight #Leadership #Resilience #ThatBlindDude #BeninCity

You see this GREETING we take personal in Nigeria?? An acquaintance’s husband was accused of harassment in Europe because he kept on greeting his neighbor until he cautioned himself. When he arrived a particular country in Europe,he took the Nigerian greeting style there. Culture shock hit him when he noticed they all kept straight faces but he continued. One day he passed a lady in his neighborhood and greeted again, only to hear an angry outburst from her. She started screaming & said “you keep harassing me with your greetings,I don’t like it. Just walk past” He learnt the hard way

So my uncle was once married, had two kids still toddlers when everything fell apart. One day, he just walked away. No responsibility, no support… nothing. Left his wife to carry everything alone with two small children. That woman struggled, worked shifts, did everything just to raise them right. Later, she met another man and this one actually stepped up. Took those kids as his own, trained them, paid their fees, became the father my uncle never was. Now the daughter is getting married… and suddenly my uncle reappears. Saying bride price must be paid to him. The girl said no. Her mother said no. “As far as we’re concerned, the man who raised us is our father.” Now my family is dragging and begging , saying that it’s tradition, that another man can’t take bride price while he’s alive. They’ve sent family members several times to beg but my cousin is still standing her ground. But I keep asking them… where was this same tradition when he abandoned his children? Because me, I’m standing with that girl and her mother. You don’t disappear during the struggle and show up for the honor.

The church I attend here in the UK: Service starts at 10AM. Ends at 11AM. Exactly. No offertory. Not even once. If you wish to give, do so secretly after service. The pastor speaks like he is having a conversation with you. I sat there the first time genuinely waiting for the part where things pick up...like speaking in tongues, dancing during praise, loud clapping to break chains etc. The pastor even prayed for people individually. Nobody fell. I'm still not sure if I've been delivered or if I'm missing something. 😭🚶🏾‍♀️

Also in addition, If you check this phone number 08035074099 which is public information from the official CV of the INEC chairman, That phone number is used for 2FA for the X account, that phone number is tied to an OPay with his name, And guess what? Even on TrueCaller, go and check the name with that same phone number 😂 Again, Nigerians you have all the evidence.
