It was a long day but a productive one. First day of new job, did some ren faire auditions, and got all parts of the next HHF episode recorded. Now I should sleep.

So, two days ago I was unemployed for an hour. Got laid off for reasons I will happily discuss over a drink. An hour later, got a job offer from an amazing company that will have me working fully remotely. I start on the 14th. I've never laughed so hard in my life.

So this happened this morning. I have a lot of feelings. Mostly shock. I find myself proud of very few things I do in life, but this is one of them. I never expected this show to take off the way it did.

@Razlo I have a vacation coming up in March that I'm intending to use to trek around and visit all the people I havent seen in far too long. You are high on that list.

Today is a mixed bag of emotions. I've been in a bad mental state for a bit, but really good things are keeping me afloat (career/faire/band stuff, new friendships), but today marks 9 years since I lost one of my best friends. Miss you Captain.

My audio production teacher in college taught me a valuable lesson when editing. "Often times, the most important sound effects are the ones people don't notice." I'm realizing this is also a solid life lesson too.

Every evening I like to lie to myself and say I'm going to pack a lunch and snacks for work the next day.
