It was a sunny day yesterday, a proud day for me as I watched my daughter take her oath at the Yaba College of Technology matriculation ceremony. From nursery to now, I’ve prayed for this day. Seeing her step into tertiary education makes me grateful to God and hopeful for what’s ahead. I’m proud of you. Stay focused, stay humble, and make the most of this opportunity. Almighty Allah is behind you all the way. Happy new chapter, my scholar. I wish you success, wisdom, and protection throughout your time at Yaba Tech.

BREAKING: Epe Constituency II Leaders Demand Justice, Seek House of Reps Slot for Ikosi-Ejinrin in 2027 Leaders, elders, political stakeholders, youth groups and community representatives from Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA and Eredo LCDA on Thursday, 14th May, 2026, jointly demanded fairness and political inclusion in the representation of Epe Federal Constituency, calling on the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to allow Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA produce the next member of the House of Representatives in 2027. The demand was made during a press conference held at Noforija Town Hall in Eredo LCDA, Lagos State, where apex leaders of Epe Constituency II accused the constituency’s political arrangement of sidelining Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA since the return of democracy in 1999. Addressing journalists and party stakeholders, the leaders said their agitation was not borne out of bitterness or rebellion but rooted in the principles of justice, equity and democratic balance. According to them, Epe Federal Constituency is made up of three major blocs, Epe Local Government (Epe Central), Eredo LCDA and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA with an established understanding of rotational representation aimed at promoting peace and inclusiveness. They, however, lamented that while Epe Central and Eredo LCDA had repeatedly occupied the House of Representatives seat, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA had never produced a representative in over two decades of democratic governance. The leaders recalled that late Hon. Stephen Banjo represented the constituency between 1999 and 2003, followed by late Hon. Tunde Salau from 2003 to 2007. Hon. Bola Gbabijo served from 2007 to 2011, while Hon. Lanre Odubote represented the constituency from 2011 to 2015. They further noted that the current lawmaker, Hon. Tasir Wale Raji, had occupied the position continuously from 2015 and would complete twelve uninterrupted years by 2027 if the arrangement remained unchanged. According to the stakeholders, by 2027, Epe Central would have controlled the seat for 20 out of 28 democratic years, Eredo LCDA for eight years, while Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA would still have no representation. The group stressed that their demand was not targeted at any individual but was a legitimate call for inclusion and equal political opportunity. “No democracy can thrive sustainably where one bloc continuously dominates while another remains perpetually excluded,” the leaders declared. They called on @officialABAT, the APC national leadership, members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Lagos APC leaders, traditional rulers and stakeholders across Epe Division to intervene and support the quest for justice for Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA. The stakeholders maintained that allowing Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA to produce the next House of Representatives member in 2027 would strengthen unity, deepen democratic participation and reinforce confidence in the APC as a party committed to fairness and inclusion. They concluded the conference with a strong declaration that “2027 must mark the beginning of inclusion for Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA,” insisting that the time had come for justice, fairness and equity to prevail in Epe Federal Constituency.

DON'T BLAME CHRISTIANITY OR ISLAAM. BLAME THE CRIMINALS The End of Janet Igohia, The B@ndits Kingpin Albab Abdullahi ✍️ She was supposed to be a mother. A seamstress. A Christian woman. But Janet Igohia turned out to be a k!ller. For years, this woman moved quietly through her community in Taraba State, Nigeria. Neighbors saw her sewing clothes. Maybe she smiled at them. Maybe she went to church. All the while, she was neck-deep in bl00d money. Let that sink in: a mother helped kidn@p innocent people. She collected ransoms. She moved supplies for band!ts who snatch children, farmers, and travelers from roads. And when the money came—₦1.5 million in one drop—she showed up to grab it like a common thi3f. But she was no common thi3f. She was royalty in the world of terror. Janet was married to Gana, a not0rious band!t leader who turned Benue and Taraba into a graveyard. After Gana died? She didn't run. She didn't repent. She clung to his successor—his close ally—and climbed higher in the syndicate. That is not desperation. That is devotion to ev!l. And here is the part that should sting every conscience: she was a Christian woman. In Nigeria, we wrap ourselves in religion. We pray loudly. We condemn others. Yet people like Janet sit in our pews, wear crosses around their necks, and go home to count ransom money from weeping families. Hypocrisy has no deeper pit. Her arrest in January 2024 by the Nigerian Army was swift. A sting operation caught her red-handed. Since then, intelligence from her own mouth has helped destroy band!t camps in Kashimbila and Donga forests. Soldiers seized GPMGs and AK-47s—weapons meant to k!ll and terr0rize. All because Janet talked. But do not celebrate too quickly. Ask yourself: how many other Janets are out there? How many mothers, seamstresses, churchgoers are silently bankrolling kidn@pping? How many "ordinary" women are the real backbone of this crisis? Janet Igohia is behind bars now. That is good. But her story is not a victory lap. It is a mirror. It shows that Nigeria's kidn@pping plague does not just live in the bushes. It lives in our markets, our homes, and sometimes even our altars. The end of Janet Igohia should be the beginning of our honesty. Ev!l wears a mother's face. Wake up.

You’re laughing at the guy who got cheated on? Calm down, pay attention, your own woman might be doing worse 😂😂. Marriage isn’t what it used to be, and the influence of Western culture has seriously damaged the institution of marriage. Only a few are truly safe from this mess.

Across the North Central and North Western regions, Nigerian Army Troops working hand-in-hand with the ONSA Tactical Team and other security agencies are making steady headway against criminal networks. Through coordinated, intelligence-led operations, these forces are actively targeting terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, arms traffickers, and other threats that have destabilized communities for too long. What stands out in these recent successes is the strength of joint action. The Nigerian Army Troops bring ground presence, discipline, and sustained pressure on hostile elements, while the ONSA Tactical Team contributes specialized coordination and rapid response capability. That combination is creating real momentum on the ground. The results show what’s possible when agencies move as one. The growing synergy and consistent collaboration among security forces are directly translating into safer routes, disrupted criminal cells, and renewed confidence among residents. It’s a clear sign that the evolving security challenges are being met with sharper strategy, better intelligence sharing, and a unified front.

Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, Theatre Commander of JTF Northeast Operation Hadin Kai, reports that about 1,000 terr0rists including 57 commanders were neutralized in Q1 2026. This shows the sacrifice and resilience of our troops on the frontlines protecting communities across the Northeast. If you’ve seen peace and security return to your area, pls share your story whether it’s schools reopening, markets thriving, or families rebuilding. Our soldiers face tough conditions daily so civilians can live in safety. Let’s stand with them through respect, gratitude, and support. A simple message of appreciation goes a long way in boosting morale. To those sympathizing with vi0lent groups online: peace is stronger than conflict. Choosing peace isn’t weakness, it’s strength and a step toward a better future for Nigeria. Our troops are trying, and our nation is ready to welcome those who choose that path. Together we can build a Nigeria of hope over fear.

@EleluAyoola This is subtly how I have ever loved Lagos state. I can't imagine a governor that has ruled for 4 or 8 years in the highest office of a particular state muching on a senatorial seat again. That's like an edge back, trust me, Lagos state has a well structured political template..

A trend is ongoing on Facebook and TikTok about an herb seller named Sisi Alagbo. She became popular after saying she wanted to do an agbo-athon and it has been from one controversy to another since then. Last year, it was reported that she snatched someone's husband a few months after her first wedding ended while the first wife only got to know about it online. Now she is trending for doing a threesome with her husband and a TikTokker. According to the news making rounds, it was her husband who allegedly sent it to a WhatsApp group. The video is now circulating online while those who have it are sending it to others on WhatsApp using send once.
