@oxfordgamer My platonic ideal for adventure module would be short paragraphs and dot points. Maybe a couple of lines of dialogue or one liners from NPCs. I tend to prefer toolkit style adventures

This outmoded RPG adventure format (& word count) has got to go. Get ready for lots of "ummm... ahhh...hold on a minute...." from the GM. Unusable at the table. It just excuses hard cover costs and writer salaries.
