Our daughter had a LONG list of things she desired for her birthday. Things only a Dangote budget could make happen 🤣. BUT, what she wished for the most was to be with her grandmother on her birth. My mom arrived in DC late last night. So good to see her! Happiness all round!

The new Miss SA is a member of the disabled community. Her winning is a big step towards inclusivity. I’d be weary of diminishing her win to “whiteness” instead of seeing this as a milestone for representation especially with the stigma surrounding people with disabilities.

I used to love Elon Musk, but that dude doesn’t seem to like Muslims at all. The richest man in the world doesn’t seem to care for us much. All these powerful white dudes seem to feel victimised by non whites. It’s very perplexing. Maybe I’m stupid, but isn’t it the smartest idea to push for the oneness of humanity? But he seems to support our dehumanisation. I want him to achieve his goal and get to Mars. It’s an interesting aspiration.
