POKÉMON LEAK THEORY I still 90% think the Gen10 Prof is meant to be based on Darwin-but since Wallace was 14 years younger than him,& because they both technically worked on the Theory of Evolution-I think Wallace could be the Prof’s colleague Things will change from the TL,but in the early info we found out a few big points about the Prof: - “Survival” is one of the main motifs of the entire game - Prof is the “Survival” Prof - (At first he was said to be 21 but his later model is an older man so we can assume this changed) - Prof is very knowledgeable through books, but doesn’t have many practical or “in the field” skills. - His Colleague does have “in the field” skills Darwin is better known for his books and studies, and when he released his book on evolution, Wallace was still (younger and) in the jungles of Indonesia. I think this points to the Prof’s “colleague” being based on Wallace, and is maybe a character we meet out in the wild, who is researching survival for the older Prof. This is also backed up by some modern Gens of Pokémon, where the Prof has a type of assistant. OR it’s also possible that he is the Prof’s rival as there is some info about him living in a treehouse out in the jungle(However this info is murky as it might be the Protagonist’s rival instead). Still might be something there since Darwin and Wallace were rivals in a way.
